1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to redwolfinfo.com, the Redwolf Key retailer application, related administrative services and Redwolf Key managed-device services operated by Red Wolf Info Tech Pvt Ltd. ("Red Wolf", "we", "us" or "our").
A retailer, reseller or finance partner may collect customer information and decide why a financed device is enrolled. In that situation, the partner may be independently responsible for its customer relationship and notices, while Red Wolf processes information to provide the technology platform. Customers should also read the agreement and privacy notice supplied by their retailer or finance partner.
2. Information we handle
Account and authentication information
Name, business or retailer details, email address, mobile number, role and permissions, login and OTP events, session information, MPIN setup state, and security or audit records. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes. The retailer MPIN is kept only in platform-protected local secure storage on that phone and is not sent to our server.
Customer enrollment and finance-servicing information
Customer name and verified mobile number; optional email or contact details; product selection; purchase, instalment, amount-due and next-due-date information; retailer details; customer signature and consent record; and KYC documents when the customer chooses or is required to provide them under the applicable agreement.
Device and service information
Device identifiers such as IMEI, serial number, Android or hardware identifiers where permitted, brand, manufacturer, model, security and enrollment state, battery, storage, network status, FCM push token, SIM-change signals, command results and related diagnostics. Installed-package information is handled only when needed for an authorised application policy, such as an allowlist, category restriction, hide or suspend action.
Location and other sensitive information
Precise or approximate location is collected only when an authorised user requests the location feature, the managed device has the required permission, and the applicable disclosure or consent has been provided. Redwolf Key does not use location for advertising. Camera, connectivity, wallpaper, reboot, application and device lock controls may change settings but do not give the retailer access to the customer's personal photos, messages, contacts, call history or microphone recordings.
Website and support information
IP address, browser and device type, basic server logs, security events, and information supplied in support communications. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
3. How and why we use information
- create and secure retailer and administrator accounts, verify identity and prevent unauthorised access;
- enrol a customer device and maintain the relationship between the customer, device, retailer and applicable finance arrangement;
- deliver authorised device-management commands, payment reminders, security alerts and final ownership release;
- show device and service status, investigate failures, provide support and maintain audit trails;
- detect fraud, abuse, malware and security incidents, and protect customers, partners and our systems;
- meet legal, regulatory, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations; and
- improve reliability using aggregated or de-identified operational information.
We process personal data only for a lawful purpose, including to provide a requested service, perform an agreement, comply with law, protect the service, or on the basis of clear consent where consent is required.
4. Managed-device controls
Depending on the selected product and Android capabilities, a financed device may be enrolled using Android enterprise or device-owner functionality. Authorised controls can include device lock and unlock, camera restriction, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth policy, USB restriction, application allowlist or restriction, application visibility, wallpaper, reboot, location request and SIM-change alert. A control is not necessarily supported on every Android version or manufacturer.
These controls must be explained before enrollment and recorded in the Customer Consent & Device Management Disclosure. Red Wolf does not silently uninstall the device-owner component. Permanent release is performed through the authorised ownership-release process, normally after the relevant finance obligation is completed or the partner approves release.
6. Security and international processing
We use measures appropriate to the information and risk, including HTTPS encryption in transit, restricted role-based access, password hashing, audit logs, protected backups and malware scanning for uploaded documents. No system is completely secure, so customers and partners should protect credentials and immediately report suspected misuse.
Some service providers may process information outside the customer's state or country. Where this occurs, we require the provider to protect information under applicable law and our instructions.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, the applicable finance or support relationship, dispute handling, security and legal obligations. Uploaded KYC documents are configured for a default retention period of up to 365 days unless a longer period is required by the customer agreement or law. Backup copies expire on a controlled schedule.
Account or data deletion requests can be sent to the contact below. We will verify the requester and delete or de-identify eligible information. Some records may be retained where necessary to complete an active agreement, prevent fraud, exercise legal rights or comply with law. Deleting a retailer-app account is separate from releasing a device-owner enrollment; an authorised release must be completed first where applicable.
8. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, a person may request access to a summary of their personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of eligible information, withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing, or review of a grievance. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from providing a feature that requires the information.
Android permissions can be reviewed in device settings where the operating system permits. Location is requested only for the location feature. Operational and service messages may still be sent when necessary for security, OTP authentication, device enrollment, payment servicing or an active agreement.
9. Children
Redwolf Key is a business and finance-servicing platform and is not directed to children. Retailer accounts must be used by adults authorised by their organisation. A financed-device customer must be legally capable of entering the applicable agreement; if a lawful guardian acts for another person, the partner must verify that authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, providers or law changes. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL. Material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
