What the customer should understand
Redwolf Key is used to support a phone purchased or financed through an authorised retailer or finance partner. The managed-device component can apply visible restrictions connected to the customer's agreement and device security. It is not intended for secret monitoring or access to private content.
1. Parties and device
The enrollment record should identify the customer, the retailer or finance partner, the selected product, the financed Android device (including IMEI or serial number), the payment schedule where applicable, and Red Wolf Info Tech Pvt Ltd. as the Redwolf Key technology provider.
The retailer or finance partner remains responsible for the commercial agreement, payment status, lock or release decision and customer dispute. Red Wolf operates the technology according to authorised instructions.
2. Consent to collect and use information
By affirmatively accepting during enrollment, the customer confirms that the retailer or finance partner and Red Wolf may process the following for enrollment, account security, payment servicing, device protection, support, fraud prevention and legal compliance:
- name, verified mobile number and optional contact information;
- customer signature, consent version, acceptance time and related audit record;
- purchase, product, instalment, amount-due, next-due-date and payment-status information;
- KYC documents supplied by the customer or required under the applicable agreement;
- IMEI, serial number, brand, model, Android/device identifiers and enrollment state;
- device health, connectivity, battery, storage, security state, push token, command status and relevant diagnostic logs; and
- installed-package metadata only when needed to apply an authorised app policy.
Information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Personal data is not sold or used for third-party behavioural advertising.
3. Consent to managed-device controls
Depending on the selected product, Android version and device capabilities, an authorised retailer or finance partner may request:
A command may not be supported on every device. Management is not permission to read personal photos, messages, contacts, email, call history, passwords or microphone recordings. Emergency calling and legally required safety functions must not intentionally be disabled.
4. Location and SIM-change disclosure
Location may be requested only by an authorised user for the disclosed security, recovery or support purpose and only when Android permission is available. It is not used for advertising and is not intended as continuous covert tracking. A SIM-change signal may be used to alert the authorised retailer or partner and, where configured and lawful, trigger a security response. Redwolf Key cannot physically prevent SIM removal.
5. Notifications and service messages
The customer may receive OTPs, enrollment confirmations, payment reminders, support notices, security alerts and release information by app notification, SMS, phone, email or another contact channel supplied during enrollment. Promotional messages require any additional consent required by law and can be opted out of without stopping essential service or security messages.
6. Documents, security and retention
Data is transmitted using HTTPS and access is restricted by role. Uploaded documents are malware-scanned. KYC documents are configured for a default retention period of up to 365 days unless the agreement or law requires longer retention. Other enrollment, payment, command and audit records are kept only as needed for the active relationship, security, dispute handling and legal obligations.
7. Withdrawal, correction and device release
The customer may ask for access, correction, eligible deletion, withdrawal of consent or review of a grievance. Withdrawal does not undo lawful processing already completed and may affect a feature that requires the information. It does not cancel a separate purchase or finance obligation.
When the applicable obligation is completed, cancelled or otherwise approved for release, the retailer or finance partner must initiate the authorised ownership-release process without unreasonable delay. Uninstalling an ordinary app or deleting an account does not by itself remove Android device-owner management.
8. Required enrollment record
The retailer application should not activate management until it records:
The customer should not accept if the retailer has left required details blank or if the device, amount or schedule is incorrect.
9. Questions or grievances
First contact the retailer or finance partner shown in the enrollment for payment, lock or release questions. For Redwolf Key privacy or technical concerns:
